U.S. District Judge Edward Leavy placed the five women, three of whom held top positions in Rajneesh sect, on probation for the five years. He ordered two of them to leave the country.

In exchange for the pleas, the gov. ernment dismissed other tion-fraud charges against the five. and the Rajneeshees agreed to drop two lawsuits against the government. According to testimony at the 90. minute hearing.
