Got to meet the owners and the cleaning people. Such nice and friendly people.So nice for our family and dogs. Rooms were clean too. Pool and hot tub worked as expected and the breakfast was nice and saved
Used to visit the pool areas all the time as we live close by. They used to charge $5 per person to swim and use the pool area. The price raised to $10 which is still fine. However the pool is nasty. Chunks of hair floating in it. The pool is clouded over like a July thunderstorm. Very disgusting!! Take a peek under the cover of the handicap chair in the hot tub!! 🤮 It’s rustier than a war nickel found between the seat of your grandads Buick! Swim at your own risk. I would never take my kids here again. Used to be a very enjoyable place.. now… not so much!

Clean rooms, decent breakfast, friendly staff. Great pool hours. It’s a 4 rating because it was a bit dated but totally a fine hotel for the price!
Overall our experience was good at the AmericInn. Staff at check in were friendly and the lobby was clean and cozy. Rooms were a bit dated but we slept fine. Internet-wireless was very weak but other than that that a satisfactory sleep.Breakfast was decent and had all the usual offerings you’d expect from this brand.Convenient location a block off the highway and across parking lot from gas station.
Room was in need of repair. Furniture fairy beat up looking. Hallway looked like it had seen better days, very worn out. Ran into issue with toilet running for a good 10 minutes after each flush (thought at first it wouldn’t stop) and was told by front desk there was no maintenance person there. Person in a group we knew who was staying same weekend found bedbugs. Yikes. Too late to cancel so made best of things after thoroughly checking room over. Will not stay again.
