The Panda Queen and the Lord of Immersion
Henry Liang, known by his internet name "MxR"*, is a Skyrim and Fallout 4 mod reviewer. His weekly series would review the latest mod releases on the Nexus website, not necessarily by ranking or quality, but often by uniqueness or what seemed most interesting. He quickly became known for his unique cadence, recurring jokes, and memetically popular companions featured on his gameplay footage, including an in-game recreation of Jessica Alba, Ringo the P*** Slaying Flamingo, and Pino the talking mushroom.
In late 2016, he began dating Jeannie Lee, a medical student and amateur voice actress who scripted and voiced the popular Recorder
companion mod for Skyrim under the name "Potastic Panda". She first contacted him soon after Recorder was featured on his series, knowing that they both lived at the time in the Los Angeles area. They hit it off immediately.
Henry and Jeannie began a collaborative, along with romantic, relationship. "MxR Mods" continued with Henry as the main host, but the pair began a new channel, "MxR Plays", that featured Jeannie as a co-host. "MxR Plays" showed various Let's Plays of modded Skyrim and Fallout 4 playthroughs, reaction videos, and a surprisingly popular cooking channel, among other videos. The cornerstone nowadays is a daily video consisting of reactions to various Reddit video posts.
In early 2020, MxR was hit with multiple copyright strikes from Jukin Media, a holding company that owns the rights to many memetic videos and images featured on MxR channels. After initially paying a settlement, demands for more money followed. Henry and Jeannie posted an update on the channel status and their fanbase began the first "Crusade", flooding Jukin Media's channels with complaints and leading several internet legal experts to jump in and offer their assistance in fighting the claims. MxR and Jukin soon reached a settlement and the MxR fanbase have been known as Crusaders ever since.

- Hidden Depths: In this video Jeannie is fidgeting with a Rubik's cube for the duration - and solves and scrambles it several times.
- Revisiting the Roots: After several years of his modding channels withering on the vine due to most of his efforts being put towards his daily in-person videos, MxR made his triumphant return to mod reviews with the release of Bethesda's Starfield, which opened up a brand new genre with Bethesda's trademark extremely modder friendly game engine design.

- Henry's Aside Glance any time Jeannie catches on to his Lovable Sex Maniac moments.
- Jeannie's love of "snackos" (snacks of all sorts).
- The Enforced Plug of whichever sponsor they had at the time eventually became one, especially when people started noticing the same few ones popping up over and over. Ridge Wallets and Raid: Shadow Legends tend to come up the most.
- In a related vein, watching any Epic Fail videos will lead to Henry pointing out how certain sponsors would have helped to avoid it entirely.

- At some point Henry and Jeannie brought one of their editors, Kai, into their room to watch and review memes alongside them, and since then she's become a semi-regular guest.
- After a reaction video by susu_jpg got Henry and Jeannie's attention, they actually got in touch with her, and she's made several appearances in their videos since then.
- Straight Man: Jeannie. Until she succumbs to Cuteness Overload.
- Strictly Formula: Aside from the aforementioned Enforced Plug, viewers have caught on to how Henry always starts off with a "Jeannie, would you like to..."
- Wham Line: Played for laughs at the end of one video, which brought up a Japanese adult theme park and eventually mentioned a "best breasts" competition also in Japan.
Jeannie: (from out of frame) I'm leaving you!
- When Henry realizes that Jeannie doesn't have an Internal Monologue, they spend a while having a discussion about it, with Jeannie confused at Henry explaining the concept to her.
Henry: "You watch anime all the time. And the characters are always describing like the next 5 steps of their plan..."
Jeannie: "Yeah. But that's for the audience."
Henry: "No! That's all going on in their heads!"
- Wholesome Crossdresser: In both flavors - Jeannie notably cosplayed as Bob Ross one time, and convinced Henry to put on her own cosplay stuff to become Nezuko.
